1. Suiche- July 1- 8, 2026

Team and Service

From the United States came 11 Asbury church members who, together with nationals and local teams, served in Suiche through Vacation Bible School (VBS), Bible studies with women and men, and house-to-house visitation. In every setting, the Gospel was presented clearly and simply.

Trip Context

The local school was key in providing lodging for the team and use of the kitchen. The terrain was challenging; one team member had to return early for health reasons, and the walk back required spending the night in Hacha. Despite these difficulties, the trip was a source of great satisfaction and gratitude.

Amid the community's strong traditional beliefs, the Gospel was shared with clarity, love, and respect. We trust that God will bring fruit through continued visits and follow-up, and we long to see a church-planting movement on that side of the mountain range.

•             The Gospel was presented in several of the houses visited.

•             We prayed for all the families: for conversion, health, provision, deliverance, strength, and wisdom.

•             Some adults joined in the activities prepared for the children.

•             On the second day, we revisited two of the houses attended on the first day.

A SPECIAL MOMENT A: Liah’s First Mission Trip
This trip held very special meaning for our family, as it was our daughter Liah’s first mission trip. It was a great blessing to have her with us in Suiche and to let her be part of the calling God has placed on our family from such a young age. Despite the difficulty of the journey, God was good and faithful in caring for us and keeping Liah safe through every stage of the trip. Her presence made this experience even more special and left us deeply grateful to the Lord.

2. Bahía Grande-July 27–August 2, 2026

TEAM AND PREPARATION

The trip included eight members from the United States and seven nationals, including translators and new members of the kitchen team. Because this was a community new to the ministry, the team brought extra kitchen support, as there was no certainty of finding locally trained people for that task.

TRIP CONTEXT

Bahía Grande exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the school welcomed the team with a generosity that deeply moved us, and that spirit of hospitality continued through the last day we shared together.

Since this was the first visit to the community, there was some nervousness, especially because approximately 80% of the journey was made by boat. This made the logistics more complex than on our usual overland trips. However, God was good in watching over us along the way, and He had already prepared people's hearts.

Six people accepted Jesus Christ during the visit. This was a great blessing, especially in a community where approximately 98% of the population follows the mama tata religious tradition.

FEATURED TESTIMONY - The welcome we received in Bahía Grande was unlike anything we had experienced before. The community welcomed us with dances from their own culture, and the teachers were actively involved: they accompanied the team during evangelism and helped with the work with the children. Their involvement was a sign of openness, hospitality, and a willingness to walk together.

Prayer Requests

•    That the seed of the Gospel planted in Suiche, Punta Suiche, and Bahía Grande will produce lasting fruit.

•   That those who accepted Jesus Christ will be strengthened and accompanied in their faith.

•    That God will open doors to continue the visits, strengthen relationships, and raise up new local leaders.

•   That the Lord will continue to watch over each team during their travels by land and by sea.

As part of our outreach, the schools in Suiche and Bahía Grande received donations of school supplies, providing practical support to the students and teachers in these communities.

To God be the glory for every door opened, every family reached, and every life transformed.

Exploratory Trip Report - May 2026

January - April Report from the field

We thank God for all that was accomplished from January through April through each team and in every community reached. Below is a summary of the work carried out, along with prayer requests that sustain and strengthen this ministry.

Educational Support - Case: Elisa (December 28,2025)

Thanks to the support received, Elisa was able to continue and complete her secondary education.
This journey began during one of the ministry’s early visits to Manchuila, when Elisa and her husband opened their home to help start what is now a group of Jesus followers.
During that time, as Bernabé walked alongside them in discipleship, Elisa shared her desire to resume and complete her education.

From that point forward, the ministry chose to walk with her, providing financial support and ongoing encouragement. Today, we give thanks to God as we witness the completion of her secondary education, recognizing His faithfulness and provision throughout the entire process.

Elisa showed remarkable perseverance. For several years, she walked long hours to reach transportation so she could faithfully attend her classes every Saturday. Neither rain nor the danger of crossing rivers stopped her. Through effort, discipline, and the strength that comes from the Lord, she completed this important milestone.

We pray that Elisa will continue to grow and be light and salt wherever God places her. Thank you for being part of this achievement and for investing in lives, trusting that the Lord uses every resource for His glory.

2021 Annual Letter - Merry Christmas

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3

Short Update…

This year little was done in in-person training or Church Planting Outreaches, but virtually, our Lord opened wide doors to equip leaders and churches.  

It has not been until October that the ministry has gone to the field to reopen the Bible Institute and do in-person Church Planting Training and receive a team from abroad. 

Together with on the field workers and with Leadership  Development Ministries, the Lord has allowed holding 44 Trainings where 236 leaders were trained or equipped with tools to influence their different sectors of work with the Gospel.  

From the different campaigns done, we can report that the MGPanama Team presented the Gospel to 709, from which 214 placed their faith in the Lord and 120 publicly were baptized. The follow-up is always a challenge, but the churches could follow up on 57 believers and continue to do so. Our prayer is that things will start to change for good this coming year, but if not, we will continue to do as the Lord opens doors.

P&B Schools - Bible Institute

Our hearts are filled with gratefulness for our Lord’s faithfulness with the Bible Institute in the mountains.  We were able to reopen and the students are eager to keep on with their studies.   With this reopening, the number of students went down to 21 due to several reasons, but mainly due to COVID.

Water Filters Project

This project is on pause at the moment.  New filter cases were taken to Manchuila to have things ready when the opportunity arises to reopen this project.  

Family:

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness this past year of 2020.  There are praises  we would love to share with you:

1- Teo and Ruth received their bundle of joy, Helena Esther, this past Sept the 4th, 2021, and Ruth has started a new job.

2-God opened doors for David and Cinthia’s 2020 annual support and praying for this coming year.

3-Our kids are about to finish their school year, they all did great but worry a little for next year schools will re-open again. 

4-Moises and Delia have been able to see that the company is doing well and most important God has been faithful in the finances and how He has used the company to support many families that work with them.

5-Talsy was finally finished her two years of service, now she is waiting for her papers as a “registered nurse” and applying to be transferred closer to home.

6-This 2021 has been a stretchy one personally but very gratifying spiritually, physically, and mentally.

There is no complaint at all because Jesus is in us and with Him things are different.  

Prayer Points …

1-For the teams coming in 2022. There are 3 CPC Teams, 1 Exploratory Trip, 3 Bible Institutes, and Leadership Seminars, as well as follow-up trips. 

2- We need to pray for translators for the teams, people of peace in the areas, and open hearts.

2-Moises Jr company, Elconix.

3-God's provision for 2022. (Spiritually, physically, and financially)

5-The water filter project, for God to reopen the project and use it to open doors in far-out villages.

6-Above all, wisdom from above, nothing can be done without it.
